Rubina’s Favourite Banana Milkshake
This week’s recipes comes from Rubina who is 9 years old and is from Oakhurst in Sydney. She sent us her all time favourite banana milkshake recipe to try, and it was delicious! The cinnamon sprinkle on top was epic.
I halved the recipe and it was perfect for one glass, but feel free to make the full recipe below and share it with your brother or sister as an after school treat. I had mine with some of Dana’s choc chips cookies (her recipe is here).
Ingredients:
1 cup of milk
3 scoops of ice cream
1 tsp of honey
2 ripe bananas roughly chopped
Ground cinnamon to dust before serving
Method:
1. Blend milk, bananas, ice cream, 1/2 cup ice and honey until thick and smooth (around 30 seconds).
2. Pour into chilled glasses and serve with a straw or two.
3. Enjoy!
Rosie’s Tip of the Day:
If your parents don’t want you to have ice cream, you can always use Greek yoghurt instead. It will still be yummy and creamy!
